Kidogo
Media

Kidogo Media is my personal brand, which allows me to produce creative projects as an independent contractor or boutique production company.

The name comes from a Swahili proverb that roughly translates to “Little by little fills the pot”, and is meant to emphasize how even the smallest contributions matter in the grand scheme of things. It felt like the perfect metaphor for production, where every individual contributes something to the final product.

Below are a few video projects from recent years that were produced under this banner. While some of the work fits in with my usual corporate content, I have also used it to explore music videos, short films, podcasts, and other forms of media.

Brand Film | Code22 Apparel
Produced by Kidogo Media

Code22's official brand film follows the full arc of a mental health crisis: the internal war of self-doubt and self-deprecation, the isolation that follows, the moment where suicide feels like the only exit, and the psych ward that nobody plans to end up in, but too many people know firsthand. And then the decision to push through.

We made this film because stigma doesn't survive honest storytelling. Because one person watching this and feeling less alone is worth everything. Because Mental Health Awareness Month deserves more than a hashtag.

FR’EAK | Cherdericka
Produced by Kidogo Media

Cherdericka is a Grammy award winning songwriter, singer, and multimedia artist. After producing her first music video for the single “Gimme More” in 2022, she approached me again to produce the visuals for her first single off of 2026’s GA’RAGE EP.

This video welcomes you to the fictional town of “Freaksville” as intricate choreography combines with the “Ghettotech” genre of music, paying homage to her hometown of Detroit.

Is Your Enterprise Ready for AI Agents? | Equinix
Produced by Kidogo Media

I was approached by the team at Stories Bureau to help them navigate improvements to their client Equinix’s digital content. They were already producing a podcast for Equinix, but wanted to explore turning their episodes into shorter, more engaging video essays. The resulting video was used as a trial run that would influence future content.

3 Reasons High-Earning Clients Aren’t Buying from You | HoneyBook
Co-Produced by Kidogo Media

While contracting with HoneyBook, I primarily produced their recurring digital content, which included the Unbreakable Business podcast. The show had been operating under the Independent Business podcast originally, but we implemented a few changes during HoneyBook’s brand refresh that resulted in a format that was more optimized for clipping and sharing across multiple social media platforms.

Flower Talk: Parenting 101 | Hood Flowers
Produced by Kidogo Media

Flower Talk was a limited series that I produced for Hood Flowers, which was a cannabis education company.

Within this series, we explored topics such as the stigmas placed upon cannabis users and equity within the legal cannabis industry. For Parenting 101, we interviewed Jevita to discuss the double standards placed on mothers and birthing parents who use cannabis products.

2020 Producer / Editor Reel | Efa Akutekha
Produced & Edited by Kidogo Media

This reel highlights a number of freelance projects that I completed before 2020 as a producer, host, and production manager, among other roles. The content ranges from video podcasts to web series and even social-first short stories. I edited the video myself, using a dance video to create a visual throughline while adding music, graphics, and transitions.
