Case Studies
As both an Executive and Creative Producer, I’ve had the fortune of working on countless projects from initial creative ideation through final distribution.
Some of these relationships spanned multiple years, allowing my clients and I to develop unique styles and workflows for their content. Others were more short-lived, allowing me to help them to generate a capsule of creative expression for branding, marketing, or entertainment purposes.
Below are just a few of my favorite partnerships, with more projects available for viewing in my gallery.
GoDaddy
My work with GoDaddy began in 2020 when I first joined Casual as a Producer. We were their preferred vendor for social media content at the time, and had already developed multiple successful short form series with them. I became the lead Producer & Director on this account, helping to refine the look and format of their documentary-style content which focused on user stories of American small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Each season of our flagship series “ICONS” regularly almost half a million views across all platforms, with ICONS of Cincinatti also winning the 2023 Digiday Content Marketing Award for best Best Branded Content Series - B2B.
For more details, ask me about the process of managing a 7-figure annual budget to produce 50-100 individual projects per year (each with up to 10 deliverables), all while producing shoots around the United States using local crews and following strict internal legal processes.
Thrive Scholars
After roughly a year of working with Casual to produce live-action content, Thrive Scholars approached us with the idea to create a library of 30+ animated educational videos for internal use. The subject matter would vary, following the same curriculum that Thrive used to support their Scholars from senior year of high school through senior year of college.
What followed was a 2-year labor of love, as I started the project by leading a small team of international copywriters, motion graphics designers, and editors to establish the look and tone of the first few videos. About 3 months into the work, I was promoted to Executive Producer at Casual, and continued overseeing the work of several Producers on my team through the project’s completion.

“Gimme More”
Cherdericka is a Grammy award winning songwriter, singer, and multimedia artist who approached me to produce the music video for her solo debut, “Gimme More” after having already produced her first media project “Hood Flowers” years earlier.
Although this was a departure from my typical corporate work, I enjoyed the experience of working within a non-linear format. It allowed me to further develop my abilities as a Creative Producer through close collaboration with the Director and DP on our plan to accomplish her visual goals.
For more details, ask me about how we pulled this together with a shoestring budget, on an aggressive production schedule, and utilized practical lighting for distinctive visuals.
“Ways To Fly”
As a lover of unconventional narratives, I was extremely excited when an up-and-coming writer initially approached me to produce her first independent short film, "Ways To Fly”. The story centers on a young Black girl attempting to pursue her latest hyper-fixation while dealing with undiagnosed ADHD.
The project took just over a year, with us assembling a largely female crew to bring the project to life. We were able to finance the project through crowd-funding, private donations, and a little help from the coveted Panavision New Filmmaker Grant Program.
