Many of my projects cannot be posted on a public website due to NDAs and other contractual agreements.
Below are a few of my favorite video pieces from recent years, but please don’t hesitate to ask about my work with podcasts, graphic design, photography, events, and creative operations. I’m happy to share a private viewing link wherever possible for projects not listed here.

Meet Uche: Leading with Integrity | Boston Consulting Group
Produced and co-directed by Efa Akutekha in the Bay Area.
This short film was a collaboration with my colleagues at Casual Global. BCG approached our London team to create a series of films featuring employees around the world who could speak to their personal passions and the purpose that drives them on a daily basis.

Produced and directed by Efa Akutekha
This video was produced over the course of 3 months for GoDaddy in collaboration with Naomi Osaka & her skincare company, KINLÒ. Software Engineer Aaron Batilo | Color Genomics
Produced and directed by Efa Akutekha
This video was made for Color as part of a series that aimed to present their team members as more than just an employee. We focused on their personal passions and hobbies, in addition to discussing their work at the company and what makes it so special.
Create Big Moments | Marriott International
Produced by Efa Akutekha
I produced this video as part of a recruitment campaign for Marriott International. The client was particularly interested in highlighting the diverse opportunities and people within their various hotel chains around the world. We accomplished this while also making sure that our crew matched their commitment to diversity.
2020 Producer / Editor Reel | Efa Akutekha
Edited by Efa Akutekha
This reel highlights a number of freelance projects that I completed before 2020 as a producer, host, and production manager, among other roles. The content ranges from video podcasts to web series and even social-first short stories. I edited the video myself, using a dance video to create a visual throughline while adding music, graphics, and transitions.
Education Series BTS | Riverside County Office of Education
Executive Produced by Efa Akutekha
The Riverside County Office of Education asked for a series of videos to train their educators on working with foster youth. I was the Executive Producer, which involved pitching and refining the initial concept, defining the budget alongside RCOE, and providing creative guidance to the producer for the duration of the 12-month project.
I also produced and directed this BTS video, documenting our shoot days for the clients who could not be on set.
Curly Reads "The Conjuring" Stories | BuzzFeed x HBO Max
Produced by Efa Akutekha
I produced this video for BuzzFeed in collaboration with the streaming service, HBO Max. The branded content piece was a promotion for the upcoming release of the film, "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It".
This Is What Matters | The Trade Desk
Co-Produced by Efa Akutekha
This culture & values film was a large undertaking by the Casual Global team to produce a video about what matters the most to The Trade Desk’s employees around the world. Our team worked nonstop to film 40+ employees across 9 cities over 7 days.
Not only did I produce the Los Angeles shoot, but the style for our interview setup was based on a previous series that I had produced for another client, Color Genomics.
Flower Talk: Parenting 101 | Hood Flowers
Produced by Efa Akutekha
Flower Talk was a limited series that I produced for Hood Flowers, which was a cannabis education company.
Within this series, we explored topics such as the stigmas placed upon cannabis users and equity within the legal cannabis industry. For Parenting 101, we interviewed Jevita to discuss the double standards placed on mothers and birthing parents who use cannabis products.
